Achille Mbembe's Necropolitics is a political philosophy which argues that the state primarily acts to determine who is and who is not deserving of life. The states function historically has been to provide the conditions of life for some, and allow others to simply die.

Context: Calliagnosia is a hypothetical technology that disables the response to human beauty or ugliness. Users of calligosia do not have any aeshetic response to human features, though users can still recognize human features. The technology is easy to use, cheap, and 100% safe. It has no side effects on perceptions of non human beauty

Context: For the purpose of this debate, "cut-off culture" refers to the social phenomenon of figuratively cutting people out of one's life. Anyone from acquaintances to significant figures which may include, but are not limited to, close friends and family members are capable of being cut-off from one's life. This act is most commonly, though not exclusively, done at or after the point of conflict/tension within a relationship. 

Context: The Ideology of globalism refers to the sociopolitical view that increased interdependency, international trade and political unions and alliances between states and nations are desirable phenomena.

Context: For-profit education academies teach pre-university curricular during non-school hours for a profit. These include but are not limited to private after school tutoring, admissions coaching, online tutoring and enrichment/extension classes. These do not include international and private schools.
